Dr R.V. Walker’s commitment to the OMS specialty has left a profound impact for future generations in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  His namesake society was created in 1997 to secure the future of the OMS Foundation through charitable giving, which ensures the continuation of education, research and development.

Treloar & Heisel, a longtime supporter of AAOMS and the Foundation has partnered with United Life Insurance Company to offer a program which enables membership into the Walker Society through a legacy gift.

• Qualified donors can purchase a whole life policy listing the OMS Foundation as owner/beneficiary.  
• Coverage is available up to $100,000 without a medical exam
• A planned gift of $25,000 or more will result in immediate admission into the R.V. Walker Society.
• Options available for a single pay or 5yr pay premium on policies. 
• The policy delivers an irrevocable gift to the Foundation upon the Insured’s passing.
• Members in the Walker Society are recognized at the annual AAOMS meeting.
